Work has been continuing on a number of fronts, including the roundhouse and the Roman mosaic but a new loom frame has also been built for the Saxon longhall. Evidence for these mainly comes in the form of loom weights, so their exact design is subject to a lot of discussion. Once again the Oseberg boat burial supplies precious evidence for such wooden items, including a tablet weaving loom that we will attempt to replicate.
