Amongst numerous other projects being undertaken by the volunteer team are some more benches being made for the site. One of them with have carved details on the two end boards inspired by art forms from our perennial favourite site of the Oseberg ship burial in Norway. The pictures show them nearing completion, before a decision is made whether to paint them. The next post will feature a Viking baby chair.
