Storms and space

The latest storm took a toll on the roundhouse but the first layer of thatch was repaired and packed in really tight. The next wave of gales will give it a suitable test. Meanwhile in the Roman building there were more loopy goings on in the corner and prayers were offered by the new altar for mosaicists (kindly donated by Towse and Graham Harrison amongst numerous other goodies- many thanks). On the tablet weaving loom the sticky Shetland wool problem was partially solved by making a simple spacer bar which helped to keep the strands apart and made turning the tablets easier.
