Another busy week with limewashing, tent repairs, wood turning and continuing work on the mosaic and various woodcarvings. Kath’s Oseberg inspired carving is approaching completion and the last of the loop guilloche border has been completed in the mosaic floor. Local wildlife appreciates our efforts, not just the newts and grass snakes, but also a variety of birds nesting in different parts of our buildings. The sparrows enjoy the decorative antifix of the Roman roof while the late arriving swallows prefer the Viking theme in the longhall bedroom.

Hi Richard
Thanks for the update, do you still start on a Wednesday at 10 am ish?
I may come along when it’s cooler one week, do I need to do any paperwork beforehand?
Best wishes
It’s looking great there.
