Various projects are on the go at the moment. A replica of the smaller loom from the Oseberg boat burial has just been finished. Opinion differs about how it was used and what for and why there are so many closely spaced holes. It could be for making narrow braid or tapestry work. It could be worked from a chair or raised up and used standing. Meanwhile some of the carvings exposed to the weather have had some tlc and a new paint job.
