Amongst other work, the final painting of the roundhouse was completed before the Xmas party and a start was made on the painted design on the Viking chair from the Oseberg ship burial. The central area had the remnant of a pattern of interlaced dragons that we will try to add later. Meanwhile, work progressed on other Viking and Saxon furniture including benches, a low table and a baby chair.

Sadly making such a one off replica is very expensive, so we will probably have to stick with our existing carnyx replica based on the Deskford find
