A big effort from the volunteers, with fabulous help from Natural England, produced a huge load of coppiced hazel from the beautiful Ebbor Gorge NNR for the new Iron Age roundhouse replica. A lovely day, with great views from the Mendips and a stunning sunset to finish the day. Somerset- blooming lovely (in parts).

Th roundhouse will be based on the one from Mound 74 based on the results of the recent excavations that revealed the character of the wall posts and their surprisingly small size (from the earliest house on that mound).
