Oseberg, trompe l’oeil and play of the day

Kath’s wonderful carving based on the prow of the Norwegian Oseberg ship has now taken pride of place above the replica bed, that was also based on the example from the Oseberg ship burial. In the Roman building the mosaic took another step nearer final completion, with the flowers/cubes trompe l’oeil pattern. Hands on Heritage volunteer Leela also did another two wonderful performances of her one woman play Kith and Cin in the longhall, before the show goes on tour.
