As well as our large structures we are also adding smaller pieces of furniture and objects. This week we are featuring our latest game board, Alastair’s ‘hare and hounds’ game or ‘Alfred and the Vikings’ as we are calling it. On the furniture front two benches are nearing completion and the Oseberg chair is being painted by Richard. Only a part of the painted design was recorded so we have had to fill in the gaps to produce the design you see here. Eventually the two side panels will be painted too and then we will have to give it a a nice cushion or sheepskin. In the roundhouse Terry has finished his stave built tub, copying one from Glastonbury Lake Village.
