wattle, sprocket and daub

Wattle Sprocket and Daub are of course a well know firm of solicitors, but they are also what has been going on recently at Hands on Heritage. The roof and gable ends of the Roman building are progressing well and gradually the gaps in the Saxon longhall are disappearing. Thanks to Rod, the honorary site photographer, for images.

Soon we will have shingles. That’s something we are all looking forward to, as you can imagine! We do not intend treating them in any way. We may get the shakes at the same time. Again, no curing is envisaged.
