Work is progressing with the furniture for the Saxon longhall, with 8 benches completed and three trestle tables on the go. In the spirit of cross cultural relations, two ‘Viking’ chairs are being made to share the top table, inspired by the Oseberg and Gokstad ship bedheads. Table and chair oak, trestle ash, pins yew.
