The third longhall door is complete – a replica of the late Saxon door from Hadstock church in Essex, except with a different hinge pattern taken from a Late Anglo-Saxon manuscript. Its swings noiselessly, which will obviously have to be changed for health and safety reasons to a good horror movie creak.
