In olden times the sky used to be full of vapour trails from ‘airplanes’ that flew people to different countries around the Globe. These ‘flights’ were so frequent that many trails could be seen crossing the sky, even in rural Somerset, as can be seen in the picture below. Now they are rarer than booming bitterns, which are currently the main source of noise pollution in the Avalon Marshes.

That’s a most welcome pollution!
There’s so much good coming out of this strange and unusual time we’re experiencing. Lets hope we all learn something from it and keep working for a better world once we’ve returned to “normality”!
