Mike’s latest carving has made its appearance in the longhall. One last one is needed to finish the decoration of the timber ‘arch’ inside. The replica Oseberg ship burial bed nears completion, with just some decoration at the foot end being finished off, based on another carving from the ship itself. Elsewhere a new log store begins to take shape and the mosaic creeps steadily onwards as relentless as a glacier and about as quick.
