Squaring up

This week, while most of the team stood around pondering how to put up a flat pack building with minimalist instructions (of which more in the next post), the mosaic moved on to the exciting interlocking square stage. Four sets of paired interlocked squares as seen on many mosaics in Somerset including the dining rooms of Lopen and Bratton Seymour villas (depicted here). Each set has 8 such elements as depicted in the photos, so just a couple of months per sqaure – no rush.
