At long last, seven years of dedicated effort by the hands on heritage volunteers (aka Axe Club) has brought us to the day when we can finally let the public in to share the fun. The site will be open to the public on Sundays and Mondays 10-4 and Tuesday 1-4, with the opportunity to book a place on a guided tour on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. The entry prices are £5 adult, £3 concession/child, under 5s free. Prices give membership for all of 2023 so return visits won’t cost if you want to see how things progress during the year, especially with the roundhouse and the mosaic floor.
