The Avalon Marshes Landscape Project is in the 2017 Heritage Lottery Fund Awards final up against 6 other projects that aren’t as good, so please support us by casting a vote on our page at http://www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/project/avalon-marshes-somerset .  The AMLP has funded loads of community archaeology (Beckery, Burtle, Shapwick islands etc) the reconstruction buildings, canoes and trackways and has helped preserve archaeological monuments (Glastonbury Lake Village and the Sweet Track). The project has also done great things on the nature reserves and the wider landscape so please do VOTE FOR AVALON!
