Another busy week, with more fresco work in the Roman building (with Diana, goddess of the hunt), making trestle supports for the top table in the longhall and a new ‘Turks head’ rope handle for the longhall door. Most importantly though, a lovely chocolate cake provided by a novice cake baker. Mary Berry would be proud. It was eaten before I could photograph it.
