This week the weather was favourable and the Hands on Heritage workforce achieved great progress once again towards the goals of the (secret) 5 year plan. Tesserae production for the Roman mosaic has now passed the half way point with over 65,000 produced and more stone forthcoming form our comrades in the quarries. Surely nothing can now stop the triumphant progress to the glorious multi-coloured flooring future!
