Progress on lots of fronts this week. Mosaic laying marches on in the Roman building, the Viking bed takes shape, the frames for the mural in the Saxon longhall are painted and the display of roofing materials is looking great. Meanwhile four bits of holly kindly provided by Steve have been carefully shaped where a side branch comes away from the main trunk. Their mysterious purpose will be revealed in a future post.
