Hard work is being done to tidy up the site ready for opening in the summer. This week Steve and Nic did sterling work clearing the brambles and scrub that had grown up by the ditch and in the process uncovered a large heap of lias blocks and bits of concrete. Plans for stone carving are being developed. Meanwhile in the Roman building the hard work on the guilloche border has begun. Definietly a step up from the simple borders.
