This Sunday the Avalon Archaeology site is lucky to be playing host to the Draca Beordor re-enactment group. Not only will you be able to see our wonderful buildings celebrating thousands of years of Somerset’s heritage, you will also be treated to demonstrations of a huge range of Saxon crafts, including basket weaving, metalworking, dyeing, woodturning and cookery and an array of Saxon and Viking armour and weapons will be on display.
