This Sunday, 21st May, the Avalon Marshes Centre is celebrating its reopening after the completion of the recent enhancement works. There will be lots of activities on the wider AMC site and a hog roast at the cafe. On the Avalon Archaeology site there will be some re-enactors (from the Draca Beordor group) demonstrating Saxon and Viking crafts, opportunities for posing as a Saxon or Roman soldier for a photo beside the buildings and a chance to have a go at Saxon and Viking coin striking (usual charges apply).
